Hopkins-Nanjing Center selects BrowserMedia
Washington, DC - Monday September 24, 2001 - BrowserMedia (www.browsermedia.com) a Bethesda, MD based eBusiness solutions provider announced today that the Hopkins-Nanjing Center for Chinese and American Studies has chosen them to refurbish their Website. The Hopkins-Nanjing Center is the only American educational institution with a permanent physical presence in China. Since 1986, hundreds of top American and Chinese students have taken part in their 1-year graduate level program designed to promote cooperation and enhance understanding between the two countries.
The Hopkins-Nanjing Center approached BrowserMedia with a variety of requests designed to augment their cultural study program. BrowserMedia has been contracted to create multiple online submission forms, an interactive map of the Nanjing Center, a dynamic online quiz for students, and a web-based database. Hopkins-Nanjing staff have also expressed interest in building streaming video and audio capabilities into the Website to help strengthen ties between American and Chinese students.
"BrowserMedia is excited to be working with the Hopkins-Nanjing Center," said Kerry Gunther, the President and CEO of BrowserMedia. "We're pleased that our skill developing Internet solutions will help foster better relations between the United States and China."
