 |
BrowserMedia |
For Immediate Release
Washington, DC, Tuesday, July 23, 2002, BrowserMedia (www.browsermedia.com), a software development and web design company announced that they have added two senior Java developers to their technology team since April. Patrick Peak and Chris Barlow have strong backgrounds in web software development having held senior positions at eNumerate Solutions and Circle.com respectively. Since joining the BrowserMedia team, they have successfully served as technical leads on a number of challenging projects. They were attracted to BrowserMedia because of the company's advocacy of Extreme Programming (XP), an efficient, proven, and low-risk method for developing software applications.
As a proponent of XP methodology, BrowserMedia has discovered that it has enabled them to consistently deliver usable, functional, and compelling software solutions to their clients. XP is a lightweight methodology for small-to-medium sized teams developing software in the face of rapidly changing requirements. It is distinguished from other methodologies by its incremental planning approach, flexibility, automated tests to monitor progress, and evolutionary design process. The president and CEO of BrowserMedia, Kerry Gunther, said "We are continuing to expand our software development division and are actively recruiting talented developers. Our goal of becoming the most reliable, experienced, and agile software development company in Washington, DC is quickly becoming a reality."
