Specialty pharmaceutical site designed and managed by San Diego firm contains smart new look and design to simplify processes, reducing time and costs

San Diego, CA, April 10, 2003 - Red Door Interactive, a San Diego-based Internet presence management and strategy development firm, announced the launch of a new Web site for SkinMedica, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on dermatology and well known for successful products such as TNS Recovery Complex. The site at has a new look, improved navigation and speaks directly to the needs of each of the SkinMedica's stakeholders to help automate processes, increase efficiency and reduce costs.

The site enables registrants to order products on the password-protected section of the site. SkinMedica plans to move processing of all orders, coming from both physicians and their own sales force, online by the summer. This will replace the process of faxing orders eliminating manual data entry of this information.

With more efficient paths to information, a complete site map, direct product links and quick links on the home page for each audience, SkinMedica's new Web site is also designed to reduce the amount of time that it takes for individuals to find the information they need. The site enables:

- Consumers to find a reseller near them using the online Physician Finder
- Physicians to login to the Medical Professionals section of the site to register, obtain product information, order cosmeceuticals, download brochures, track orders, etc.
- Members of the media to gain access to the complete press room with press releases, news and events
- Internal sales, operations and accounting to obtain and keep track of information to automate processes from managing inventory and keeping track of and updating leads
- Internal marketing teams to upload new information, change layout and update text at any time from a Web browser through a content management system.

Red Door regularly monitors analytics and usage statistics to obtain information on where users are coming from and how they are using the site for the basis for suggestions for further enhancements and to help track ROI on marketing campaigns.
