MacroMedia Publishes BrowserMedia ColdFusion MX Article
Washington, DC, Monday, June 16 2003, BrowserMedia (www.browsermedia.com) a Bethesda, MD - based software development company has had an article on ColdFusion MX and its enhanced support for Java application servers published on MacroMedia's Developers Network (www.macromedia.com/devnet/).
Based on the lessons learned from a recent enterprise-level project, BrowserMedia software developer Steve Belt describes how to create a ColdFusion MX application using the Apache Struts framework. The article includes a case study that maps the course of the project, a demo application, code samples, and specific deployment instructions. Steve wrote the article at the request of MacroMedia to assist other developers who need to apply the Struts framework to their ColdFusion applications. The article is featured this month on the MacroMedia Website located at: www.macromedia.com/devnet/mx/coldfusion/articles/struts.html.
Steve noted that the entire process has been a valuable learning experience, "Thanks to ColdFusion MX and Struts, you can plug Java or ColdFusion technologies into either the model or view layers of your MVC architecture. By allowing you to choose technologies, ColdFusion MX and Struts offer developers a wide range of resources to assemble an overall solution."
