Red Door Interactive Announces New Site for Sharp Systems of America That Takes the Guesswork Out of Purchasing Computer Products Online

Sharp Systems of America Web site features easy-to-understand product tables and Web services to keep information current. Companion site also announced for brand new 3D notebook.

With a new design from Red Door Interactive, uses advanced technologies and Web services to enable consumers and businesses to select the best products from Sharp for their needs. The Product Classifier, created by Red Door Interactive allows visitors to get an instant snapshot on the performance of each product with an easy-to-read rating scale that ranks CPU, hard drive, screen size and other key features from good to best. Tabs on the chart enable viewers to delve into product-specific details, reviews and warranty information.

"Compare Notebooks" and "Compare Monitors" tabs, under product categories, let customers easily weigh features side by side. Visitors drag and drop product icons to a designated area, automatically populating a table enabling them to compare specs, without outside "clutter" from other product details. In both cases, the guesswork, about what makes products different is eliminated, enabling consumers and businesses to make more intelligent purchasing decisions.

Behind the scenes, the new site from Red Door Interactive leverages Web services to continually feed and refresh product specs, as they change, helping to ensure that customers always get the most up-to-date information on the equipment they are considering and enabling Sharp to best maintain this information. Resellers will also be able to take advantage of this feed to update information on their sites.

The site also features a clean, more professional design, with a hierarchy that makes it easier for customers to find what they are looking for. Products are sorted by popular features versus product names and numbers. Customers can browse a knowledgebase of technical articles on product details and view featured products and promotions instantly from the home page. Streaming demos, close-ups of the products and tabs to purchase notebooks and monitors direct from Sharp, or find resellers, can be accessed from the product pages.

Sharp Systemsí 3D Notebook, announced only a few days ago, which enables eye-popping 3D images to be viewed with the naked eye via TFT 3D LCD technology, can be purchased on the new site and has its own destination site also announced today by Red Door Interactive at The site was designed to appeal to developers and manufacturers, interested in partnering with Sharp in the 3D business, of which over 100 companies are already members.
