		BrowserMedia Launches Golfing Website, TrackMyRound.com BrowserMedia For Immediate Release BrowserMedia Launches Golfing Website, TrackMyRound.com Washington, DC, Monday, January 5, 2004, BrowserMedia (http://www.browsermedia.com) a Bethesda-based web and software development company announced today the launch of TrackMyRound.com (http://www.trackmyround.com), a website where golfers can track their scores, view aggregate golf statistics, and compare their performance against other golfers. Using a database of courses from around the world, golfers can accurately measure how their game compares to others in similar demographics. A subscription based service, TrackMyRound.com is designed to help golfers improve their game, rate courses, and form an online community of golfers. BrowserMedia built TrackMyRound.com using Java/J2EE with the Struts server side web application framework. In addition, BrowserMedia utilized the Hibernate database abstraction layer to enable a bridge between objects and the relational database. The front-end of TrackMyRound.com was developed by BrowserMedia designers who crafted the interface to be intuitive and inviting to users. Enhancements for phase two include a system that will enable individual users to create tournaments and challenge others to participate, and an affiliate site revenue program. TrackMyRound.com: TrackMyRound.com was developed to help all golfers from the pro to the hacker improve their scores and increase the enjoyment of the game.
